With the launch of the Arbitrum mainnet, the latest version of imToken now supports the Arbitrum ecosystem.
What is Arbitrum?
Designed by development team Offchain Labs, Arbitrum is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum by adopting the multi-round interactive Optimistic Rollup.
Arbitrum has attracted wide attention in communities since the launch of its testnet in May 2021. Aave, Uniswap, Curve, MakerDAO, SushiSwap, CREAM, dForce, DODO, and other DeFi projects have been integrated into the Arbitrum ecosystem.

How to Use the Arbitrum Wallet in imToken?
Switching to the Arbitrum Wallet
Open your ETH wallet then click “Ethereum Mainnet” at the top. Choose “Arbitrum” in the pop-up to switch to the Arbitrum wallet.
Note: if you want to switch back to your ETH wallet, please click “Arbitrum” at the top then choose “Ethereum Mainnet”.
Transferring and Receiving Assets
In the Arbitrum wallet, you can enter the page for transferring and receiving assets by clicking the corresponding token icon. Let’s take ETH as an example.
Transferring Assets
Click “Transfer” then enter the amount and receiver’s address to transfer.
Note:
- Please make sure you have sufficient ETH in your wallet to pay Gas fee.
- Please choose the Arbitrum network in the exchange, if you want to transfer from your Arbitrum wallet to it.
Receiving Assets
Click “Receive” then you can share your QR code or wallet address on the page to receive assets from others.
Note: you should choose the Arbitrum network if you want to withdraw from the exchange to your Arbitrum wallet.
Experiencing DApps in the Arbitrum Network
Click “Ecosystem DApps” on the wallet page then you can see the most popular DApps in the Arbitrum ecosystem.
Now you can experience the DApps that you are interested in.
On the “Browser” page, you can directly enter the website of the DApp that is not listed to visit it.
Depositing and Withdrawing through the Arbitrum Bridge
The Arbitrum Bridge allows you to deposit and withdraw between the Ethereum mainnet and the Arbitrum network.
Depositing
Open imToken then switch to your ETH wallet. Search “Arbitrum Bridge” in the box on the “Browser” page. On the page of Arbitrum Bridge, choose the token you want to deposit then enter the amount. After confirming all information, click “Deposit” and pay Gas fee.
Withdrawing
Open imToken then switch to your Arbitrum wallet. Choose “Arbitrum Bridge” after clicking “Ecosystem DApps” on the wallet page. On the page of Arbitrum Bridge, choose the token you want to withdraw and enter the amount. You should confirm all information before clicking “withdraw” and pay Gas fee.
Note: You need to wait at least 7 days to withdraw from the Arbitrum network to the Ethereum mainnet. After successful withdrawal, please switch to ETH wallet and open Arbitrum Bridge, click "Claim" to claim your tokens. Once the claim is successful, your funds will be displayed on the ETH wallet home page.
