How to use iZUMi on zkSync Era?

About iZUMi

iZUMi is a DeFi protocol that provides Liquidity as a Service across multiple networks. Its product offerings include iZiSwap (DEX), LiquidBox (liquidity mining scheme), iUSD (bond financing), and DAO veNFT (governance). iZiSwap utilizes a Discretized-Liquidity-AMM (DL-AMM) algorithm, offering both a swap mode like that of Uniswap and a Pro mode with order books.

Currently, the iZUMi protocol is deployed on networks such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, zkSync Era, Polygon, and BNB Chain.

How to use iZUMi on zkSync Era

Preparation:
  • Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone (for Android phones, enable GPS, too) and connect to the imKey hardware wallet
  • Switch to zkSync Era wallet
  • Make sure that there is sufficient ETH in your zkSync Era wallet to cover gas fees.
Follow the instructions below to transfer assets from Ethereum to the zkSync Era network: How to use zkSync Era wallet in imToken?

Accessing iZUMi

  1.  Open the zkSync Era wallet in imToken, tap "DApp", then scroll down to locate iZUMi and tap on it.
  1. Tap "Confirm" to authorize iZUMi to access your wallet address and connect to the DApp.
Note: If you are unable to open this DApp, switch the mobile network and try again.

Swapping coins

  1. Tap “iZiSwap” and choose the coins and amount you want to swap (taking ETH and USDC). Tap "swap", and check that all information is correct before tapping "Request confirmation from imKey". Confirm the transaction with your imKey hardware device.
Note: You need to first authorize transfer actions if this is your first time swapping ERC20 tokens.
  1. Go back to the zkSync Era wallet page, tap "+" to enter "My Assets", add the coin you just swapped to check its balance.

Adding And Removing Liquidity

Why provide liquidity?

Providing liquidity to the iZiSwap swap pool allows you to earn transaction fee commission from the protocol.

Adding Liquidity
  1. Tap "Pools" and select the trading pool you want to provide liquidity to (taking the USDC/ETH pool as an example). Tap "Add Liquidity" and set the quantity of coins you want to deposit into the liquidity pool, then tap "Create".
Note: You need to first authorize USDC transfer actions if this is your first time adding ERC20 tokens to a liquidity pool.
  1. Tap "Request confirmation from imKey" and confirm with your hardware wallet.
Removing Liquidity
  1. Tap "Liquidity", select the liquidity pool you want to remove liquidity from, and tap "Details". Input the quantity to be withdrawn from the pool, and tap "Remove" at the bottom.
  2. Tap "Request confirmation from imKey" and confirm with your hardware wallet.

Kind Reminder

We highly recommend imKey hardware wallet, a cold wallet device powered by imToken, to users with large amounts of assets or high security needs. imKey also allows users to use zkSync Era and supports Layer2 ecosystem.
